Abrazo is a private, nonprofit child-placement agency, licensed by the State of Texas since 1994. Our home office is based in San Antonio, but our loyal, hardworking staff travels to wherever we’re needed, whenever we’re needed. Because Abrazo is made up of people, and Abrazo’s family extends from the sunshine-drenched beaches of California to the the rocky coastline of Maine (and just about everywhere in between).
Our community is composed of courageous parents who’ve birthed and placed
children as well as loving parents who were unable to birth but ready to adopt
and parent for life. 
And the children of Abrazo are much-adored youngsters
of every size and shape and creed and color, who are growing up with knowledge
of and access to all the people who love them most in the world, because their
futures were built on the foundations of open adoption.
In a perfect world, of course, adoption wouldn’t exist, because there would be no infertility, and no unplanned pregnancy, and everyone who ever wanted to parent would have every advantage in life and children would never have needs their parents could not fulfill.
Yet, in the less-than-perfect world in which we live, the people of Abrazo believe that open adoption is the best possible way to give children who are unable to grow up in their families of origin the very best of both worlds.
